Hamilton boasts rather a large selection of murals on various flat surfaces, including this exhortation to keep Hamilton beautiful (ironically, it is painted on the side of Hamilton's ugliest building); and a painting that is, perhaps, a rather less colourful commentary on that same building, visible across the street.
Hamilton, apparently, once tried to rebrand itself as "The City of Fountains." They could have picked a sillier moniker, I guess ("Waikato City" springs to mind), but hardly a less appropriate one.
