Credits
A number of people helped get these pages together. I (currently of
California) made most of the spelling mistakes, and Jane (of Hamilton
& Huntly, pictured above) took most of the photographs, but a certain amount
of aiding and abetting went on.
- The Waikato computer science postgraduates (of 1997) motivated
this page, even if they were too lazy to do anything about it
themselves. To their credit, they did prevent me
making the "Scenes of Violent Death in Hamilton" website.
- Kayrn (currently of Wellington) and Matt (last seen in the
departures hall of Auckland airport) spent a day patiently ferrying
Jane and I about.
- The mysterious SMC (currently of Wellington) wrote most of the highs and lows of Hamilton architecture
page, and helped with many others, and proof-reads practically all of
it.
- Richard Littin
(currently of Hamilton) provided me with a web-counter, until someone
threw a brick threw his office window and ran off with his computer.
- This page wouldn't be nearly so useful without links to Tim's Guide to
Places of Food and David's Upcoming
Hamilton Theatre Page. (Tim is still in Hamilton, but David is in
Australia.)
- Mark Long (whereabouts unknown) gave me a couple of pictures of
the Gardens since Jane never got around to taking any.
- Various readers have given me handy spelling tips.
Thanks.
Gordon.
(If I've left you off this list, and you feel you ought to be on it,
it's probably because I hate you, or because I'm writing this months
or years later and have forgotten your contribution. You have a few
courses action open to you: 1) forget it; 2) subtly let me know, and
I'll fix it; or 3) let a silent but bitter hatred consume your soul,
forever.)
